Crazy P have never been a band swayed by the latest trends. They’re undeniably disco and have unintentionally found themselves as part of the recent renaissance that has crossed the Atlantic from New York City and now sit alongside Hercules & Love Affair as a band that can cut it live. Their new album ‘Stop Space Return’, out on 20:20 Vision, captures Crazy P at their peak with a more cutting-edge electronic sound. Only a small handful of dance acts such as Roisin Murphy or Hot Chip can put on a proper live performance, and Crazy P are one of them. They’re a band that get the party started (surviving sound failures, streaking naked across festival campsites and winding up at numerous after-parties) with headline performances at The Big Chill, Good Vibrations in Sydney and Dance Village at Glastonbury. This show was recorded live at The Garden Festival in Croatia, of which they were the talk of the weekend.
