Starting out as a Sunday matinee in New York City's patina filled Shelter Club at 6th Hubert St., it soon became a legendary address itself and one of NYC's myths after the closure of the club. Since then, one can catch Body & Soul at various places around the world. From the Summerstage at Central Park to clubs in London or Tokyo. Associated with the cultural heritage of institutions like David Mancuso's Loft or Larry Levan's Paradise Garage, the trio basically offers a house party that got to big for any living room. Their accent lies on deep and soulful grooves without bias towards or against any specific format. Expect Dub next to Minnie Ripperton, Techno followed by Gwen Guthrie or African rhythms mixed up with new and old House tunes. One of a kind for sure.
