Not to be mixed up with the George Lucas' famous hairy giant, MOBO-nominated 'Best Producer' Wookie (real name Jason Chue) is one of the most talented producers to emerge from the UK underground music scene to date. Rising from the Soul II Soul fold as the figurehead of the UK garage scene in the late '90s, and with a ridiculous number of club classics under his belt, he is a London street tunes legend! Having remixed and produced tracks for the likes of Justin Timberlake, Amp Fiddler, Corinne Bailey Rae, Lily Allen, Jill Scott, John Legend, Gabrielle, MJ Cole, Masters At Work, Nitin Sawhney, Brandy, Roni Size, Soul II Soul, Angie Stone, Faithless, Sia, and many more, Wookie will be dropping another solo EP before Summer 2008 arrives. Recorded exclusively for RBMA Radio, this set was the opener at the Academy's London Info Session after party and immediately had a full house grinding and whining...
