Train Wreck Mix - After Midnight

Cedric Woo

Voices, Beauty & The Beat, London

Cedric’s appetite for eclectic sounds can be traced throughout his musical and physical journeys. He started as a Campus radio DJ/music coordinator in Clermont-Ferrand, France before crossing the Atlantic for a one-year spell in New York City. Here he established a close friendship with his mentor and ‘Loft’ legend David Mancuso who he still works with to this day - promoting the quarterly 'Journey To The Light' parties in East London. After settling down in London in late 2000, Cedric founded the collective VOICES with kindred spirits DJ Alex and Ramar, and since then they have been playing and promoting deep house and disco with regular events all across London. Cedric likes to show his parents that the infinite quest for new (and old) sounds makes some kind of sense, so he compiles cds for their listening pleasure every now and then. Whilst this mix was recorded exclusively for RBMA Radio, it has also been sent to them with specific instructions for it to be consumed either before or after midnight…
