On The Floor! - Live at Prime Numbers, Manchester

Trus'me

Prime Numbers, Manchester

Hailing from Manchester in the north of England, Trus'me grew up surrounded by the city's rich musical heritage. Northern soul, punk, new wave, indie, house - Manchester was at the front of it all. His love for music started at an early age where he dabbled with various instruments before studying production. Like many music lovers, he was soon bitten by the vinyl bug and his focus shifted towards DJing and digging for unique samples. As a DJ he plays with diversity, a style that comes across in his production work. Based on old disco samples with an attitude, he makes house music as good as it gets. Just little time ago, the DJ turned producer decided to send some of his work to various labels across the globe. One of the tracks on his CD sampler was immediately picked up by Chicago based label Still Music. Described as "the hottest talent rising out of Manchester this year," his first 12" made more than the rounds. A stunning dancefloor killer anthem, 'Nards', has been hammered by Giles Peterson who said that "If there was ever a house record made for me, it would sound like this." One debut album called 'Working Nights' on his newly formed label Prime Numbers later, Trus'me is now getting major support from the likes of Moodymann, aka Kenny Dixon Jr, Mr. Scruff, Benji B or Jazzanova. We trust him, so should you!
