When the rumour of Those Dancing Days' mixture of girl group pop and Northern soul started to surface in Stockholm during the winter months of 2007, the five piece act quickly became one of the most talked about new bands in eons. Their track 'Hitten' (the Swedish translation of 'The Hit') became just what the title says and their MySpace inundated with praise from all over the world. With a recent record deal in hand, the band is ready to release a five track EP where 'Hitten' leads the way into their charm-filled world. Those Dancing Days formed in Stockholm suburb Nacka in 2005. From the ashes of Rebecka Rolfart (guitar), Cissi Efraimsson (drums) and Lisa Pyk Wirström's former band, Those Dancing Days found their line-up completed when college friend Mimmi Evrell (bass) was asked to join who brought vocalist Linnea Jönsson along. A demo was quickly recorded and after songs were addded to their MySpace, feedback was instant. The American music site 'It's A Trap' hit the spot, when they called it "Sweet as apple-pie pop."
