Now into his second decade as a true innovator in the electronic music scene, Charles Webster is one of the few real mould-breakers in dance music. In his long and varied career, he has recorded for a plethora of labels under many monikers (Presence, Furry Phreaks, Lo:rise, Version, Love From San Francisco, Megatonk) and is universally renowned as a deep house legend - not that his sound could be pigeonholed that easily! Webster is working on a jazz project at the moment as well as on a new solo album and has always been drifting between blissfully electronica and future pop, when not aiming at the dancefloor. On top of it, his own label, Miso Records is approaching its eighth release. Recorded exclusively for RBMA Radio, this set features musician Peter Wraight, vocalist Emilie Chick and special guest Robert Owens as well as Charles on the laptop and keys.
