At the end of the day, this guy Dave Jone,s aka Zed Bias, is one of the most likeable fellas you’re likely to meet, and he’d probably be quite good to have back you up in a pub brawl too. At least, he could clock who might be trouble in about two seconds. Musically too, he’s good at sussing things out fast. And heaven knows this Madchester-based studio impresario has earned his stripes. Hailing from London and one of the true innovators of UK garage, his releases helped set the blueprint for the darker garage sound at the end of the ‘90s, and with his many side projects he has also taken things into a jazzy, soulful direction. He's also known for his countless productions as Phuturistix, Maddslinky, The Henchmen, remixed everyone from Whitney Houston to The Streets, worked with the likes of Miss Dynamite and Amy Winehouse, and with 'Neighbourhood' even had a Top 30 chart hit. For RBMA Radio he has compiled a mix of is trademark bass-heavy Biasonics and true 21st century soul.
