How else could he run his Bear Entertainment label empire with a billion sub lables (Bear Funk, Hairy Claw, Big Bear), DJ and produce for the Chicken Lips and remix people on top of that. Indeed, we and you don't know. Starting out in an old fashioned tea boy way at Audio One Studios in London, Kotey soon made his way to the tape operator. From there on, it was impossible to stop him. With productions for Discfunction under the critically-acclaimed Akwaaba moniker and as part of the exploding London Nu-Disco scene, Kotey became a household name.His own array of labels holds a great selection of diverse, entertaining and amazing music by like-minded producers from Lindstrom and the Idjut Boys to DJ Kent, Theo Parrish and Chicken Lips.
