Indiana's synth wizard and New Age outlaw Dylan Ettinger takes on the dark side of oscillating soundscapes. According to Dylan Ettinger's Facebook page, Arnold Schwarzenegger is the only fellow artist he admires - not quite what you'd expect from the fragile yet embracing vibes of his various vinyl and cassette releases on Not Not Fun and El Tule. But there are definitely some cinematic Conan The Barbarian / Blade Runner qualities once his Korgs and Alesis are in full throttle. Besides obvious influences from the vast field of psychedelics Dylan Ettinger names Bob Dylan, DJ Screw, King Tubby and Weird Al Yankovic as major points of reference for his sound.
