While most kids were still working out their ABC's, Mark Friedli was belting out his own renditions of Marvin Gaye, growing up in a household where the soul was king from sun up, 'til way past sun down. Fast forward to the present and over the past 18 years he’s put his musical heritage into practice serving up a banquet of vintage platters worthy of an Asterix adventure ending. Also keeping Swiss headz well noddin' on the live front, with him laying down keys over some MPC beat workouts on a seriously smoking broken-jazzy-hip-hop tip: sweeter than a Nestle Christmas hamper. Donning his Markomix Cap in 2004 he won the Swiss ITFs, and then placed 9th in the world championship in Stuttgart.
