New York based Oliver Stumm and Domie Clausen, better known as the production crew and DJ duo named A Touch Of Class (ATOC), have come a long way. Dedicated to a sound somewhere between electronic disco and funk-induced rock they founded their ATOC record label in 1999 as a platform for their own material as well as other like-minded musicians. Combining live instruments with electronic grooves and modern production techniques with an uncompromising attitude, Oliver and Domie are well known for delivering cutting-edge and daring mixes of highest craftsmanship. And the boys have some truly impressive production credits under their belt, including Scissor Sisters' 'Comfortably Numb' and 'Filthy Gorgeous', The Ones' 'Flawless' and Xavier's 'Give Me The Night'. They say the duo was instrumental in discovering the then unknown Scissor Sisters before signing them to a major label (and probably buying a bunch of private islands in the Carribean right after). Over the years ATOC have remixed artists such as Le Tigre, A.R.E. Weapons, The Gossip and Erasure to name but a few. Classy.
