Paul Gamblin

Heavy Mannas, Perth

Paul Gamblin is a music lover and record collector in the truest sense of the word and has been hosting his 'Black & Blue' radio show for more than a decade now - always looking for the perfect beat and representing jazz with a global edge. The Englishman moved to Perth in Western Australia a few years ago and learned to cope with the different hazards of life on the other side of the world - such as croaking frogs that keep the family awake and summer heat that warps records. However, his top notch selections and skillful blends of old and new tunes prove this man got a discerning ear to sort out the rubbish from the black gold. Besides his enormous knowledge of all things jazz one of Paul's first loves in music and a genre that holds a special place in his heart is reggae and dub. And what a lovely selection that is!
