Hearkening back to the good old days of the cosmic sound, the Rome-based Gomma recording artist, Venice, resurrects the genre – and infuses it with a healthy dose of romance. The one-time b-boy turned heads with his EP 'Animals, Stars And Other Psychedelic Creatures', his collaboration with post-space-disco maverick Cecile on Gomma Records, collecting props all blogs-that-know, and furnishing his DJ sets with those beats to make you sweat. Expect epic arpeggiations, surf interludes and a sea of arms in the air. Don't look now, but life's a (Venice) beach. Live at Sónar 2011.
