Inside Out - Latin American Edition - Vol 144 - Coco Cósmico

Panamérika

Latin America

Step closer for an encounter of the third kind: come stargazing with Panamérika, up, up, and away into the immensity of outer space. Our sonars caught some distorted analog asymmetric alt Latino frequencies which you may listen to in this show. Mexico City’s coffin kids Candy come with some spookiness, while Monterrey’s Kinky are back with guest space dominatrix La Mala Rodriguez. Plus, Austin TV go for their sophomore release with a math-rock riddle, and to continue with complex equations, Chilean Matías Aguayo pairs with Warp Records prog-band Battles (the amazing video is directed by the Spanish Canada studio, check it out!). Directing our antennas to planet South America, we found some coconut-cosmic songs taken from this month's Music Alliance compilation with Megajoy and Pilotocopiloto. Then comes Bam Bam with a space-rock song worth some galactic collisions. Closing in you’ll find some stellar corpses auto-tuned by Lost Mapaches, and some more coconut-cosmic bodies by De Janeiros. So take your pills and put your helmet on: "Panamérika...we (don't) have a problem".
