Like many acts featured on the genre defining first Beat Dimension sampler, Mweslee has got a unique take on head-nodding rhythms and spaced out dimensions, fed by long years of raiding records from all sections of the car boot sale, from spiritual jazz to 80's boogie, acid folk to obscure synth music. Add to those piles of wax the Arkestra collective, an eight-headed musical merry-go-round, and he has more than his hands full. But he has fully come into his own with 2010's Eurocarne EP, released on Nod Navigators, where he added a unique tropical twist to his sonic explorations while keeping the funk firmly embedded into his beats. Riding high on fresh inspiration, this set sees him take his sounds to Monegros 2010.
