Brandt Brauer Frick, !K7, Berlin

Throughout his career, Daniel Brandt has been striving to achieve his unique sonic vision, with acoustic techno explorers Brandt Brauer Frick the latest, and so far most fully formulated step on that way. An accomplished drummer and pianist, he played in jazz, rock and orchestral groups since an early age, while slowly gravitating towards electronic music. Along this way he started the project Scott with his friend, the composer Jan Brauer. Together they released house and jazz tinged techno and started their own label, Doppelschall. Brandt Brauer Frick was a natural evolution from this, moving even further out there from the solid foundations of techno and modern classical music. All along, Daniel Brandt has kept himself busy as a DJ, playing the clubs around the world that shape the sounds he thrives on. And yes, sometimes Daniel even takes a short nap.
