Kuniyuki is one of Japan's best kept secrets. Based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Kuniyuki Takahashi started out as a sound designer and producer in 1994. He released a mini album as FRR Hive on the Bassmental label and later on played a few festivals as a member of the Haruomi Hosono (YMO) group. In 2000 one of his tracks was picked up by 4Hero's Dego to be included on the first 'Good Good' compilation on 2000 Black. Kuniyuki also released a full length album on Japanese Sound Of Speed imprint (under his Koss moniker), put out the classic 'Precious Hall' on Joe Claussell's Natural Resource label and remixed Ananda Project's seminal 'Cascades Of Colour'. His current album on Tokyos Mule Musiq is currently creating waves among DJs and music connoisseurs alike.
