Introducing DJ Harvey: international cult leader, leftfield disco administrator and builder of Triumph choppers. In late '92, Harvey and Thomas 'ARE Weapons' Bullock began a cultural collaboration which resulted in the infamous Tonka parties that turned Cambridge, England, into the hottest disco village ever known. Years later the pair reunited as Map Of Africa to create a stimulating mixture of swamp boogie and deep-rock cosmic. Harvey himself also created the Locussolus project for the International Feel imprint, is busy as never before remixing other people's music, and started traveling the globe as a DJ again while keeping his Harvey's Sarcastic Disco nights a rare but recurring highlight of LA#s nightlife. Meanwhile fetishists keep worshipping Harvey's rare Black Cock re-edits, circulating long before such things became fashionable. Come see why nerds, dancers and music lovers around the world are addicted to Harvey's hippie magic.
