This time, we team up with our allies from Peru: The enthusiastic blog Rock en las Americas... on a phoner interview, Jose Luis Mercado introduces us to his musical project and recommends us some of his darlings. Also, we've got a new single by Nortec Bostich + Fussible and a string of covers: Pacifika does Chicago's '25 or 6 to 4', Russian Red versions Roy Orbison's 'Crying' acoustically and our week's bastardization comes from the Williamsburg Salsa Band, who make a salsa rendition to Animal Collective's 'My Girls'. To round up this show, we have some nu-folk from Francois Peglau, Rana Santacruz and Argentina's Cldscp; and some afrobeat from the Original Tropicana Steel Band. If that wasn't enough, Xavier Cugat comes to put a ballroom atmosphere, with a cocktail piece!
