Santiago Ferrer started DJing under the Xpansul name back in 1993 and hasn't looked back since. Staying true to an ideal of techno that navigates freely between Detroit and Cologne, Chicago and Berlin, he has infused his style with his own kind of Spanish love for sequential grooves. Working together with Alexi Delano he's released on labels like Plus8 or Trapez, while his own tracks have been scattered across a variety of outlets from Ovum to Soma to his own labels like Discos De Lata and MSX. Never one to stand still, he's taken to live performances sometime around 2009, starting another label, Truetype, to mark the occasion. All these technicalities aside, he's still known to be a fully trustworthy DJ, as shown by this set at Sunjam, Utila, that took a little island, filled with an assorted crowd off the shores of Honduras, into the sunrise.
