This time, PanameriKa is a hard candy synesthesia of colours, destiny, love, words, scents and music. What's the flavour of surf, rock or electro-pop? The sweet and the acid, become neutral in this perceptual lab: We have the new song by Chilean ex-pats in Paris, Panico; the return of the Canadia-philiac Mexico City band, Chikita Violenta; a fresh song from L.A.'s pride Los Lobos and Venezuelan poet Ulises Hadjis. The radar points towards to acts to watch: No Terror and Ambiente; while we show two interviews with looney songwriters: The Zappa-esque Axel Krygier from Argentina and peace-hearted Mike Sierra from Mexico. Stay also for this week's bastardization, as we hear Spain's Bebe, smelling like flamenco spirit... Sugar and, spice and everything latin-wise. (Artwork: Death by Cotton Candy, by Daniela Edburg)
