Boy Better Know that mans like Jamie and Joseph Jnr Adenuga aka JME and Skepta are big in the grime game. They're also huge in the t-shirt game, having sold 30,000 of their Boy Better Know garms. And that's not to mention bigness in other areas: their version of Wiley's Wearing My Rolex was retitled The Rolex Sweep, came with its own dance and swept up a swathe of unlikely fans from Westwood to '90s kids TV presenter Timmy Mallet (seek out YouTube for the gameshow version) and Chris Martin. These boys roll deep. Check their albums Shh Hut Yuh Muh Vol 1, Famous? and Greatest Hits respectively or Skepta's quick-fire curation of installation :04 of Rinse FM's mix series for proof. They might be best known for their prowess on mic - take grime anthems like Punch In The Face, Too Many Men, CD Is Dead, or Nokia Charger Wire - but they also DJ and produce and even appeared on the catwalk for London fashion queen Carrie Cassette Playa. Catch JME with BBK cohorts Jammer, Shortee and DJ Maximus bringing some London energy to the stage at Splash! Festival.
