With DFA as his daytime employer, you would be right to have high expectations of Justin Miller's DJ abilities. Those who have experienced his sets say he fuses the taste of a "DJ's DJ" with an ability to command any dance floor, from sweaty basement clubs to high-end MoMA gala's. His vast musical knowledge comes from his long-lasting work in the music business. Miller started out working in a record shop called Fingerprints in California and is now immersed in NYC'S DFA Records. He demanded attention across New York in 2007 with his successful 205 Tuesday nights, run with Jacques Renault, which hosted countless renowned guests including Tim Sweeney, The Juan MacLean and Lovefingers. Moving on from this, Justin Miller was then embraced by the Museum of Modern Art and found himself sound tracking events such as the Tim Burton retrospective and as one of the faces of DFA Records cementing its presence within dance music.
