A boat moored on the Tagus with almost forty artists on board. Two parties on dry ground, geared up with the best sound systems and hosted by top notch MCs. The Pirate Popular Soundclash proudly raised its flags over Lisbon on the 12th of June, 2010. The crew on board of the Principe Perfeito included Ginga Beat hosts Rui Miguel Abreu, Dj Mpula and Violet plus a vast production team complete with sound engineers, video and streaming technicians, photographers and, of course, a valuable crew that set the sails for the strategic broadcasting point and then back to the quay on a late-night trip. Streaming audio and video from the river, the sound of the on-board madness reached the parties at Sao Pedro de Alcantara and Adamastor, which in turn was broadcast back to the boat - interactive piracy, anyone? Broadcasting live on 99.0 FM and RBMA Radio, the Soundclash welcomed listeners from far beyond these locations, and you can relive some of the best moments right here.
