Fond of collaborations, Roberto Auser has been known to team up in the studio with fellow academy friends Bryanson and Ian Martin, as well as partner-in-sound Alden Tyrell which led to the 12" Blondes & Brunettes on Bear Funk. It set things up nicely for his double album Secret Carnaval on the same label, an extended excursion deep into the tropical Ausland rainforest. His own journeys behind the decks are just like this train wreck mix - a captain's log of space disco jungle journeys, sailing from synth-ridden b-sides of dusty 45's to french songwriting oddballs like Bernard Lavilliers and Jacques Dutronc, to long-forgotten 70's TV themes.
