From the innards of Latinamerica's rockanroller monster, we bring you this special that highlights the 2010 edition of the Vive Latino Festival, held in Mexico City the past April 24 & 25th. Listen to PanameriKa's choice of acts, along with reviews, accomplished appointments, disapointments, chats with attendants and melodies as ardent as the Foro Sol's asphalt that made all those 'geros' (white-ones), end up being 'canelos' (cinnamon sun-toasted). As usual, in Panamrika we don't want you to leave empty-handed, so we prepared an interview with Calexico and a short professorship in turntableism with Chilean DJ Latin Bitman, who mixed tracks from his Colour album. All this and more in this festival edition heated at many centigrades. Photo by Daniel Patlan.
