Electronic music pioneer Mark Pritchard has been pushing styles forward since his early days with Tom Middleton and their Evolution label. Natural selectors, anyone? When we say uncompromising, it's the notion of experimentation in the face of convention that lies at the heart of Mark's music, whether he's recording with Tom under the guise of Global Communication or Jedi Knights, or solo as Reload, Harmonic 33, Troubleman or Use Of Weapons. Inspired by the way Detroit producers coaxed the soul out of their drum machines and analogue synths, Mark has been forging paths not just in styles of music, but also in music business, taking the rebel music ethos of groups like Underground Resistance and operating a DIY approach under the mainstream radar.
