The birds tweet! Parties, gardenes, astro-turf, supergrass, 'shrooms and 33 icecream flavours delivers PanameriKa#81, where we happily receive springtime from Mexico City. This fresh and dynamic edition is all about green, happiness and being happy as a child-with-balloon: 12 voices, 12 feelings taken from Hispanoamerican Indie, as propositive and stimulant as a free ride on the old kiddie train on Chapultepec Park. You'll listen to a live session with Argentinian's Banda de Turistas; the western-gypsy, Liber Teran, goes for his sophomore album and tweaks the sound of Tambora (Northern Mexico's polkas). Uruguay's Jorge Drexler is also back with an elegant afrobeat tainted poem. Many youngsters lighten up this playlist, such as the acidic Chileans Astro, the Turbopotamos from Peru and Mexico's hippest, Pau y sus amigos. "Come, springtime, come... I'll be waiting..." As, PanameriKa dresses up with shorts and Birkenstocks.
