In PanameriKa, music is the weapon: Si para usted, a Cuban revolutionary funk compilation waves in this edition's classic cut, caballero. 'Crazyman' Valdes, Los Gatos and Cesar Costa tropicalize old rock'n roll standards with three daring bastardizations. In the meantime, Adanowsky (Alexandro Jodorowsky's heir) and RBMA London 2010 darling, Teri Gender Bender, scanadalize abuelitas (grandma's), aunties and moms with their striking nakedness. Maluca does her aggresive latina thing, even when she's wearing a nightgown and hair-curlers. Finally, Antibalas make a sweaty and beligerant version of Patato's 'Dilo Como Yo', to round up this genuine, exclusive and transcultural show, contradictory as wearing some Levi's along with a Che Guevara shirt. Ah, by the way: we leave you with one tip for life: "Don't try to dance, when you visit the spinning top's house".
