One of the founders of the UK acid house scene, Peter Ford has released tracks under a lineup of pseudonyms, amongst them Doucen, Marylebone Affair and the rather visual Twig Bud. The most frequent however is Baby Ford, whose music has since developed from his acid house days to the minimal techno legend he is known as today. Ford's array of releases incorporate four full length albums, including debut Fordtrax, which contained the imaginatively titled and celebrated singles 'Chikki Chikki Aah Aah' and 'Oochy Koochy'. Peter enjoyed an inevitable stint living in Berlin and collaborating with labels like EMD and Perlon. His connections don't stop there though. Ford's continued work with Thomas Melchior is as inspiring as his extensive work with the late Ian Loveday. Together with Loveday and Mark Broom he also managed the Trelik and Ifach imprints.
