A drum'n'bass warrior, Brockie has been about since the hardcore days of the late-Eighties. Taking his r'n'b and soul interests into the emerging Jungle sound, Brockie's big, bad and heavy sets established him amongst the main players. Best known for feverish jungle selections he is expert at underscoring MCs, with Det the most frequent to chat over his beats. Having appeared on more flyers than most, Brockie also produces, releasing a spate of his own 12"s plus regular collaborations with Ed Solo. His label, Unlimited Records, overtly aims to focus on bass lines. Possessing one of those names that MCs love to yell, it's as a DJ where he excels. Loved by the jump up or stamina crews for his wicked selections, the gooner is part of much loved London pirate station Kool FM's foundations. Brace yourself then go nuts, it's Brock-out time!
