Tuned to the pirate stations' energised bass music firing out of his dad's car stereo, Heny was gripped by certain frequencies aged just 7. Involved with dubstep before its official inception, he has dabbled in an array of aspects, from manoeuvring records on the decks to fiddling with antennas on top of high-rises. Adept at the business side-as well as the creative - Heny worked at key Soho record stores, whereby he associated with the scene's main players. Progressing from a punter at FWD>> to DJing on Plastic People's oh-so-special system was a merited accolade for his persistence. Now part of Anti Social Entertainment with close friend Silkie, the West Londoner is unrestrained as a DJ, at ease playing house, garage, dubstep and other beats. Also skilled when producing, the much anticipated premiere release on his Gangsta Boogie Music label, Arena 1/Retro Love, balances his typical emotive deepness with inventive sonics and melodies.
