Here's the fourth volume in a series of lovely mixtapes highlighting the spirit of Dirk Rumpff's and Alex Barck's 'Home' clubnight at Berlin's WMF. You'll know Alex from his groundbreaking work with Jazzanova, while Dirk is the man behind the well established Offtrack radio show which has been running on a weekly basis for the past decade. His missions as an ambassador of the deep and soulful groove ranges from writing for Groove mag to riding the faders in the studio under the name Season, or the Sygaire moniker with Jazzanova's Roskow Kretschmann. Add to that his work organizing exhibitions and clubnights like Home around Berlin, as well as doubling as a freelance A&R for Berlin's Sonar Kollektiv label, and you've got a cultural activist who is anything but one-track minded. Their joint night is called 'Home' and it's all about those special tracks, that make you tingle with joy, giving you that, well, homely feeling.
