Bob Mould

Anti-, Washington, DC

Bob Mould is an American musician, principally known for his work as guitarist, vocalist and songwriter for influential 1980s hardcore band Hüsker Dü, the first non-Californian band to release on the seminal SST label. After the Hüskers split at the end of the decade, Mould formed Sugar. He then released several solo albums, followed by another new project, LoudBomb, a pseudonymn deriving from an anagram of his name. He then took a brief musical interlude and turned to professional wrestling, but lucky for us soon returned to the music scene. Our Bob is also a live DJ in collaboration with DC-area dance music artist Rich Morel, under the collective banner Blowoff. Both LoudBomb and Blowoff have led to Mould being asked to do numerous remixes - such as Interpol's 'Length Of Love'. Among his solo projects, collaborations, wrestling and more recently book writing, Bob Mould is a busy chap, so we were lucky to be given the opportunity to hear about his life adventures.
