Few groups have had as tumultous a career in the last twenty years as Massive Attack. Daddy G, 3D, and Mushroom first met as members of The Wild Bunch in the West County's bass HQ Bristol, but ever since 3D co-wrote Neneh Cherry's 'Manchild', the critical acclaim and success hasn't stopped pouring in. Their debut album Blue Lines, and their single 'Unfinished Sympathy' might have soundtracked an era, but it also underlined their unique approach that made them sound like no one else. Collaborating with a vast array of artists, they've worked with the likes of David Bowie, Mos Def, Horace Andy, Elizabeth Fraser and Bjork, picking a wide array of ethereal vocalists to grace their tunes. Anticipating the release of their fifth studio album, we join the current duo as they prepare to switch up the game yet again.
