Welcome to Nice Nice. Already well-known in their hometown of Portland, Oregon as one of the hottest underground bands on the live circuit, they've now siged to Warp Records and they're stepping it up a gear. Guitarist Jason Buehler and percussionist Mark Shirazi have been playing together for over ten years and they collate runaway melodies and free-form noise into some of the most creative beat-based rock music you will ever hear. Pretty much everyone that has heard or seen their awe-inspiring live shows is left gob smacked, with little to compare it to. While they may not be the first band to successfully trap virtuoso playing into loops that you can dance to, they have done it with the least amount of pretense, making it both intellectually stimulating and great fun to listen to.
