Inside Out - Japan Edition - Vol 10 feat DJ Spen

Inside Out Japan

Tokyo, Japan

Hosting Japans very own RBMA show, Shibuya FM is named after one of the world's busiest urban zones, and it doesn't let its name sake down. Covering the multitude of music styles that prevail through Tokyo, on any one day you can hear jazzy eclecticism from original Tokyo pioneers like Toshio Matsuura, Raphael Sebagg, future beats from the Jazzy Sport crew, reggae 45s from Shibu Ragga, deep disco and house music from Lowrider, Flower Records, and Tokyo Clubmix, while the World Famous show covers all the bases, and the downtown b-boys tune into Warp On The Table and MasterMix. The weekly RBMA session sees the freshest local talent rubbing shoulders in the studio with international guests. Special guests this time around is the Baltimore giant DJ Spen. His work with the Basement Boys and the Jasper St. Company Project s the stuff of legend and he's been carrying the torch of soulful garage music ever since. While in Tokyo he dropped by the RBMA Radio show on Shibuya FM for this set of deepah music!
