Sonar Sessions

New Look/Jungletalk

formerly known as Jungletalk, Brooklyn/Toronto

Toronto-bred Adam Pavao first made the papers in North America penning foamcore and sultry post-rock synth love with outfit Little Clever. In this Sonar performance Adam performs under his other, more electronic pop inspired outfit Jungletalk. A project which he recently re-named New Look: a duo with vocalist and model Sarah Ruba, who previously recorded with Stuart Matthewman of Sade: think high-flying dreamy electronix. Tip! Part 2 of this Sonar Session features O.Boogie. The boogie man haunts the decks at notorious A'dam clubs such as Paradiso, Panama and Bitterzoet, and has been known to set the ones and twos on fiyah from Flanders to NYC. His frighteningly funky locked grooves can be found on DrieKeerRaden, part of the venerable Rush Hour family, and forthcoming on Faces Records. Benji B, Domu and Rednose Distrikt are just some of those who've weighed in to spin wax from O.Boogie wonderland.
