My Tiger My Timing are a five piece formed in 2008 in New Cross, South East London. Named after an Arthur Russel track, the band have also covered the disco cellist's 'Arm Around You' for a covers album on Electric Minds. Hyped by Dazed and Confused, Drowned in Sound, NME and everyone in between, their music is an extremely danceable take on indie-beat, with nods to Hot Chip, Tom Tom Club and maybe even Architecture In Helsinki. We caught up with Anna and James to talk about tracks that they are into - inspirations from the past, and tunes by their friends and contemporaries...
