Formed by Joseph Mount in Totnes, Devon, England in 1999, Metronomy are the discerning electronic music lover's favourite group. With instrumental and vocal takes on underground pop music, the trio melts hearts and brains alike. Consisting of Joseph Mount (Composer, Singer, Keyboards and Guitar), Oscar Cash (Saxophone, Backing Vocals and Keyboards) and Gabriel Stebbing (Keyboards, Backing Vocals and Bass Guitar), they have remixed Roots Manuva, Franz Ferdinand, The Klaxons or Kate Nash among others. Sounding like the Violent Femmes after an extended 'Summer of Love', Metronomy are sure to fill this yawning gap in any given record collection. If you broke your heart again, come and see them.
