Now this kid Reso, he packs a meaner metal punch than most things Slayer released this side of Y2K. His track "Metal Slug" is one of the most charmingly evil dubstep tracks around, technoid sounds fully intact. But, wait, he's also the man who was on engineering duty when Burial creates his hauntingly classic remix of Jamie Woon's "Wayfaring Stranger". Like a younger, leaner and less apocalyptic sibling of Kevin Martin's The Bug he is a truly unique voice in dubstep, taking the style to places it'd be afraid to go on its own. Folks like Rusko, N-Type an Benga have his tracks on heavy rotation, but this set from Bestival 2009 showcases the man and his music himself.
