Straight from Germantown, Philadelphia, Amanda Blank first made her fiery presence felt on some Spank Rock tracks back in 2005, some of which ended up on the genre defining 'Bmore Gutter Music' mix. From there, Amanda went on to features with Ghostface Killah and M.I.A. and, lately a spot on the Major Lazer album where her upfront sexuality quite brilliantly clashes with Jamaican ideas of masculinity. Despite her busy collaboration schedule, she has been massively busy on her own projects, releasing her Diplo, XXXChange and Switch produced solo debut 'I Love You' on Downtown. It features spots by Lykke Li, Santigold, Spank Rock and Cool Kids, proving Amanda to be as good a host as she is a guest. It took her two years to complete the record, but she still came out lightyears ahead of the built up expectations. It also proves that she doesn't just love you, but also great pop music in general. A fact that also shines through on her Headphone Highlights.
