Gabor Schablitzki (alias Robag Wruhme) and Soeren Bodner (alias Monkey Maffia) are the heads behind both Wighnomy Brothers an the Freude am Tanzen label. Both projects have put the quiet little town of Jena onto the maps of refined Techno tastebuds all over the world. They serve up smart, technotronic dance music with one foot firmly in the house camp, and a tip of the hat to jazzy flavors. Raving with a reason' might be a catchphrase they like to use, but once they get behind the decks you may want to turn that phrase right around: It would take a darn good reason not to rave. A sweaty mix straight from Berlin's infamous Watergate club.
