Arto Mwambe

Brontosaurus, Frankfurt

Probably the most famous fake resident of Burkina Faso around, Arto Mwambe is the brain child of the two Frankfurt city boys, Chris Beisswenger and Phillip Lauer. Together they are also part of the infamous Brontosaurus DJ crew, an offshoot of Lauer's Brontosaurus label, premium purveyors of proto dance music. Throughout their releases and remixes under their Arto Mwambe guise, they have fused a unique take on house music with earthy grooves and a very own sense of humour. And ever since they've debuted their live set at Berlin's acclaimed Panorama Bar things have been on a whole 'nother level all together.
