Despite their early involvement in what became known as Eighties revival or even electroclash, Zoot Woman have always been about pristine pop music. Stuart Price's work with Madonna was a logical conclusion, after the success of Zoot Womans debut, 'Living In Magazines' and his work as Jaques Lu Cont and Les Rhythmes Digitales. Their take on glorious, mostly british, music of decades past, is not about any retro yearnings, even though their latest is called 'Things Are What They Used To Be', instead they are strictly looking forward, with an unabated believe in the liberating power of pop music.
