Alex Chase is known to many as Alex Robinson, Stones Throw's European attaché who runs Wolf's empire on this side of the Atlantic. But the man has more than one string to his bow and in 2007, he set up One-Handed Music to release the music of the one-man beat factory that is Paul White. A few years down the line and One-Handed is renowned as a trailblazer in the world of the beat and looks set to make waves in a broadening range of genres as Chase allows the imprint to grow towards reflecting the depth of his musical tastes. As well as taming Mr White, One-Handed Music has helped launch the career of the inimitable Bullion and released a string of records by artists including British rapper Tranqill, French disco-mangler Fulgeance and Detroit polymath Jimmy Edgar (on remix duties). Alex, Paul and Bullion tell us a bit about the magic of what they've been up to so far.
