For Melissa Livaudis and Busy Gangnes telepathy is what it takes to play music together. Leaving behind their proggy, punky band Wikkid, they have been taking their love of hip hop, dubstep and krautrock off into the deep ever since. Blessed with a multitude of equally talented friends, they've released records that feature collaborations with the likes of TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek, !!! and the Mad Decent crew. Especially their single 'Chrome's On It' attracted a stellar crew of remixers. Mind you, though, these are real collaborations between friends (no use in swamping them with CDs full of beats), and more often than not the two of them will be glued to their machines, laying out loops and programming drums that owe as much to their previous band experience as to their love of electronic music.
