Dominic Stanton is the real name behind many mysterious pseudonyms: Bakura, Rima, Sonar Circle, Umod, Yotoko. The beats breaker from Bedford creates slinky brokentistix - with an extra-sensory sci-fi elegance to rival the manga series of the same name. While Sonar Circle was the first nickname Dom gave himself when experimenting with drum 'n' bass on 4Hero's legendary Reinforced Records in 1996, he appeared as his main guise Domu on many labels such as 2000 Black, Archive, Ninja Tune, Sonar Kollektiv, Treble O, Compost, Rush Hour, Especial, Bitasweet and others. Rhythms as bold as ink brushstrokes meet arrangements filled with detail, right down to the last homemade beans 'n rice egg shaker. Since this mix Domu has hung up his gloves, but the legions of memories will be around for a long long time yet.
