Going back to their high school days in Baltimore, this loose co-op of friends, consisting of founders Avey Tare and Panda Bear as well as Geologist and Deakin managed to form music that is unlike anyone elses – as the dear journalists love to say. Psych folk, noise rock, ambient pop and drone sounds all melted into one colorful kaleidoscope of melodies that will rule the world. Here we have the boys for an intimate chit chat about their compositions and work. This ain’t a zoo!
