Going back to their high school days in Baltimore, this loose co-op of friends, consisting of founders Avey Tare and Panda Bear as well as Geologist and Deakin, managed to form music that is unlike anyone else's - as the dear journalists love to say. Psych folk, noise rock, ambient pop and drone sounds all melt into one colourful kaleidoscope of melodies that is ruling the world.
